Spiritual practice is very relative and personal. The metaphor of “88,000 dharma-doors” refers to the infinite ways to practice, as many ways as there are beings. Sometimes practices are for phases and then we pick one that is better fitting. Other times, when we find a practice that resonates, it really comes to life for us. The practice sticks with us and continues unfolding and expanding over time, rather than a diminishing effect. This is one of those practices for me. My long-term hope is to publish a coffee-table book with all the verses (or at least build one here).
